UNTAME THE PLEASURE IN WRITING

Word Weavers is an online space for women who write, want to write, feel an indistinct calling to write, to come together and feel held, supported and connected in creative process. 

The doors open twice a week for about an hour. Once you contact me, I will send you the access link. It will be the same every time. There is no obligation to show up every time. An open door for you to step through when you feel like it.

7pm (CST Costa Rica) / 9pm (EDT New York) / 10pm (ADT Halifax) / 2pm Thursday (NZDT New Zealand) / 8 am Thursday (ICT Chiang Mai)

SUNDAYS

11am (CST Costa Rica) / 1pm (EDT New York) / 2pm (ADT Halifax) / 7pm (CET Europe)

Whatever way you feel called to weave words, I would love this to feel like a space you can feel held, supported and like you belong. The desire to write, the faint whisper that is tugging at your heart to put pen on paper is all that is needed. There is no way that has to look, no goal to achieve, no way to fail at this. Showing up for that whisper inside is already the success.

Whatever you are writing on, you are invited. If you are in the middle of an already mapped out project, you are in the beginning stages, you haven’t written for years or ever or you are writing every day. If you want to journal, write poetry, create a course, an article, a blog, a novel, screenplay, have no particular form in mind at all… you are welcome. 

I want it to be about the process of writing, reclaiming the pleasure of it rather than running towards a goal. Writing as a way of being and experiencing the simple truth that in giving ourselves to the process we can’t avoid creating something, it becomes inevitable.

For me personally it is an honouring of a need I have felt for so long but have always judged and ignored. That what I need in my writing process is community, feeling connected to other women, create in circle. Each on their own journey and yet connected in the process. I would love for this to feel like a safe space where we can come together and follow the longing to write with untamed permission.

Words are portals and the way we connect them weaves pathways on which we get to encounter and discover what felt out of reach, hidden or impossible before.



Writing for me is a doorway to the constant flux and power we hold within ourselves. It is a way to stay connected to myself, others and the world around me. A meeting place of worlds, where I come to nourish my soul, and anchor myself in a deep sense of belonging.To experience that in circle, weaving community by the shared passion for words, to me is where I re-member who I am. It reminds me of the sacred journey and commitment that it is to live a life true to me.
