Connecting to your body through authentic expression creates pathways that allow you to access your clarity and your inner compass in the flow of your life. 

Peace and clarity is not found in the absence of expression, it is found at the heart of it. 

Free form movement allows you to experience yourself in your fullness. A space where all of you is welcome and celebrated.

So much is stored in our bodies.  When we allow movement to open at the pace of our own unique bodies, we regain a deep trust in our body´s guidance and get to experience that our bodies already naturally are built to heal themselves if we just make space and allow it to share its medicine.In DANCEmandala we make space again in our bodies and our beings for more of us.

And through that we also liberate our minds, for when we move our bodies we automatically librate our minds, making so much more space for what is possible.

We can’t always be in a zen state but through building a foundation of meditation in motion, this inner peace and clarity over time becomed accessible right between the pages of our everyday life.

DANCE AS MEDICINE

Deeply anchored in the body this practice, allows you to not only move through but  with your thoughts and emotions and to unclench stories that are locked in your body and keep creating conflict and unrest within you.

DANCEmandala is a practice, where self-love is not just lip service but becomes an embodied and lived experience, in which we have the space and opportunity to meet, hold and honour ourselves exactly as we are and where we are at.

That in my experience is what makes changes that we want to create in our lives both nourishing and sustainable. Not trying to be someone else, somewhere else, but making room to be exactly who we are in this moment, and let that be enough, let that be the gateway. That to me becomes the nourishing soil for anything we would like to grow in our lives.

LIVE AN EMBODIED LIFE

Meditation in Motion allows you to sharpen the awareness and experience that meditation is nothing that stands next to the rest of your life, that is separate from everything else but supports you in integrating it as an alive aspect within the flow and movement of your life. It makes room for integration to be already part of the process, to embody the wisdom, the insights, the rest, whatever it is that you open up in the practice, and makes it easier to carry it into your life.

Moving stillness meditation allows us to put ourselves on the dance floor of our lives again and gives us a choice to show up on our own terms.

THE ORIGIN OF DANCEMANDALA

I trained as a facilitator of the practice of DANCEmandala with its creator Areeradh K.Tri-Siddha at the School for Moving Stillness at the Yoga Tree in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Built around 11 layers of rhythms and vibrations DANCEmandala is a practice of mindfulness and awareness connecting body, mind, heart and spirit. It offers you the space to listen to your body and find your way to follow your intuition and curiosity into movement in the ways that feel right for you.

Supported by music and gentle guidance you are invited to journey inwards and follow your body into authentic self-expression.  It is a practice built to guide you to connect to your own authentic voice and create pathways that allow you to stay connected to it in the flow of your daily life.

I still remember the first time I came to a DANCEmandala session. The freedom to move in whichever way felt good to me and the space that suddenly opened up to listen to myself took my breath away I was captivated how there was so much room for freedom to find my own way into moving my body in a space that was so well-held, so safe, so supported. I was fascinated by the invitation to close my eyes, to move inwards while expressing myself outwardly at the same time, being aware of the fact that I was witnessed without this being a hindrance but rather a support and allowing myself to follow my own pathways of movement. DANCEmandala connected me to the same space of understanding, knowing and creativity that I so far had only ventured in through my writing. I was thrilled to have found another way of accessing this deep space of listening and expressing.

This was twelve years ago. Since then the transformative journey of the DANCEmandala practice has taken me to so many places inside and outside. I have built true connections through it with myself and others and have explored writing in a new way
