INSPIRATIONAL SPARKS TO IGNITE YOUR CREATIVE ESSENCE

Take one moment, one breath, one heartbeat each day to connect to your creative essence. We do hold the power to write our own story. This power is inherently ours and it exists within each and everyone of us. No matter what it looks like on the outside, we all have it – connect.

INSPIRATION TO SPARK YOUR CREATIVITY

The intention of this Blog is to share with you written pieces that grow between  the lines of my life and creative process in the hope that they land between the pages of your own exploration as inspirational sparks.

Each blogpost will be accompanied by a writing prompt. An invitation for you to step over the threshold into your own creative process of self-exploration.

CREATE TO CONNECT

A dear friend asked me a while ago: Why do you create? The answer came out of me before I had even consciously formed a thought: Connection. I create to connect.

Creativity connects us to ourselves. It cultivates that essential relationship with our own essence. It grounds us into full presence, while taking us beyond what is visible or obvious. It roots us into the fullness of what it is to be human as part of something so much bigger than us. And it connects us to each other in the most profound way. Creativity doesn’t know separation and it thrives in relationship. Within the creative process differences melt away. We get to play on the same ground, connect to ourselves, our unique essence while sharing with others, inspiring and being inspired at the same time.

~ BLOGPOSTS ~

How can we look at time in a way that supports us? Can we create pockets of time to connect to our own pace and learn to trust our own timing?

Opening a door to creating new pathways into our own true essence each day is both a devotional practice and a playful rebellion 🙂

Let her grow, that is all she ever needed. That was one of the voices that came through for me when I sat on the threshold of initiation a while back. It made me once again clearly aware of all the ways I again and again convince myself to inhibit my own growth because that seems safe. It made me also think, no wonder we seem to arrive in so many stages of our lives not quite ripened. So often it seems that the exterior doesn’t quite match the interior. We uphold what once was true because it is familiar and therefor registers as safe. We also remember what it took to get here and want to protect what we achieved at all cost. But we can also not quite shake the feeling, that now it feels a little hollow and maybe effortful to keep up, when really all it ever needed was for change and transformation to allow to run their course.
